This was my second stay at the hostel this time I brought my friends with me. Before reaching BKk I had some visa issues that I couldn't be there at the time I was supposed to,I contacted the hostel and they've changed the dates for me even that my booking was not flexible, something I did not expect. After 2 days the hostel staff were going to have a holiday break so I had to leave, unfortunately the other hostel I booked was a scam and it was new year so I couldn't find another I called Rich8 and they let me and my friends back to the hostel which was so kind of them. After 3 nights I left to Phuket and asked to leave my baggage there to which they cheerfully consented. I cannot THANK them enough for making my stay at BKK exceptional. BTW the place is clean cozy, the staff are amazing you just feel like home.

Conveniently set in the Bangkok Old Town district of Bangkok, The LOL Elephant Hostel is located 2.2 km from Temple of the Golden Mount, a 3-minute walk from Khao San Road and 3.3 km from Temple of... Just simply one of the best places I have ever been. Awesome attention to every detail. I wish there will be more places like this.

It is located in between all the touristy places while still remaining quiet and peaceful. I met a lot of great people here and made lots of friends. The host was super helpful throughout my stay, when I asked her to change my bed to another room in the middle of the night (due to a newcomer who was heavily snoring,) it seemed she had just woken up from her sleep to facilitate my request, I came to really appreciate that. However, despite being in the center of a bustling touristy area, the house is very ambient. The bathrooms are cleaned every morning and you have a netflix access for a stay home night. Loads of affordable local and foreign restaurants around with many laundry services minutes walk from the hostel. And free coffee and tea with biscuits available at the kitchen counter… I mean what else could you ask for?
