The location was private and a 10 minute drive into Tropea. It had a large beautiful pool with chaise lounge chairs to relax. It was a pleasant surprise. Staff was awesome.

great sea for snorkeling but sometimes jellyfish on Grotticelle beach (very painful for kids) - in Tropea no jellyfish and calm sea all the times.
in summer has the area problems with water supply - before check-in ask the owner of the property of the state of water in the tanks (we had bad luck in July, our apartment ran out of water twice a week - very stressful)
the beaches of Capo Vaticano are available by car (parking is for 1,50 Eur/hour) or on foot 20min walk downhill (but up the hill in hot weather is guite a challenge)
snorkeling in this sea is like in an aquarium :-)

The rooms were clean, nicely decorated and spacious.
The rooms were clean, nicely decorated and spacious. The wifi and speed was amazing. The food was good. The breakfast was not entirely free as the website suggests. The lunch buffet was delicious and loved the female bartender at the snack shack by the pool who helped us. The hotel was not a 4 star as it states and the neighbourhood surrounding the hotel is poor and run down, not safe to walk around at night. There is no iron available for hotel guests. The hotel pool needs to be fixed and maintained. The tiles are missing throughout the pool and the pool has algae growing on the side tiles. The beach made up for the pool. We had to buy towels as the hotel did not supply towels for pool/beach, 10 Euros a towel at the local market. The ocean floor is rocky and slimy and its very difficult to get in. We were not prepared to deal with the rockiness of the beach and needed to buy water shoes.

It is a resort where you will enjoy your time even if you don’t want to step outside of the property. Lush gardens, excellent pool area, cozy bar and lunch restaurant and beautiful outdoor setting for dinner. There is a separate entertaining facility for kids with animators, a well equipped gym, small boutique, bike rental, and of course the beach with beds and clean towels! Staff members are very kind and supportive.

The place is simply beautiful with a superb swimming pool, deckchairs and a bar. The apartment was very comfortable and so was the bed. A fine view of the sunset! There is a shuttle bus to the beach (one of the finest in Calabria) or you can take a walk - approx. 900 m going down (the return is a bit tiresome). The receptionists and the bar staff (including Seniora Magda) was very helpful (English, German, and Polish spoken). A great place for families with children.
The hotel is situated down a potholed road, so beware driving there if you have your own car.
The room 111 that was allocated to us was beside an exterior door. There were ants coming into the room on the 2 full days we stayed.
We booked in on a Saturday for 3 nights, but we had to leave on Monday because a colony of ants came into the bedroom on the Sunday night.
The ants were all over the fridge and walls and some on the bed.
The staff apologised.
Loved how the resort was structured and located! Reception was very nice welcoming and helpful!
Very big thanks to Francesco for taking care of us!!
Breakfast was also super good and the place had good swimming pools as well!
The transfer drivers as well so helpful and kind!
