On April 5-6, the Bentley community joined together to celebrate the inauguration of its ninth president, Dr. E. LaBrent Chrite. To commemorate the special occasion, students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the university gathered for two days of conversations and ceremonies.

President Chrite’s Installation Ceremony

More than 1,400 students, faculty, staff, alumni, trustees, friends of the university and representatives of other colleges celebrated the inauguration of President Chrite during the installation ceremony. During the ceremony, President Chrite was welcomed and praised for his leadership skills and strong belief in business as a force for good in the world.

Armchair Conversation with Marcelo Claure ’93

President Chrite kicked off the inauguration celebration with an armchair conversation with investor and entrepreneur Marcelo Claure ’93. During their conversation, the two discussed a wide range of topics ranging from the future of business and most disruptive technologies to the need for good business at the intersection of profitability and positive impact.
