Another successful defence for the formidable Oleksandr Usyk.

Usyk is showing no signs of slowing down and might even be getting better - is that possible?

A unanimous win to improve on a split-decision victory in May and you wonder if there are any challenges left for Usyk in the sport.

IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois wants his rematch with Usyk, while the Ukrainian has teased a return to cruiserweight.

Whatever he chooses, we'll be here to watch it unfold.

Fury was filmed speaking to his former coach Ben Davison backstage immediately after the fight.

"I swear to God I thought I won it by at least three rounds," Fury said.

Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn, speaking on DAZN: "There is only one fight for Tyson Fury and it's Anthony Joshua. Fury is still potentially at the peak of his powers but just wasn't up to it against Usyk.

"I'd love to see Fury v AJ at Wembley and then maybe come back out here."

Former world heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis to BBC Radio 5 Live: "I didn't score it, but it was close. He should have got more rounds in there."

What next for Fury? "He can do what he wants to do. He can retire, have a rematch, have another fight."

Oleksandr Usyk's promoter Alex Krassyuk speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: "I am extremely proud. It was an encyclopedia of boxing and he showed today how boxing is constructed from the bottom to the top. Incredible performance. There is no time to walk away, he is happy to do this.

"I had to Fury three or four rounds. The judges gave him four. That's the fairest score it could be."

On Dubois: "He could be next, but how could you name him next when he is fighting Usyk?"

It's still a huge fight but it's not what it once was. I think it will happen because of the amount of money that's at stake. There's nothing stopping it now. If it doesn't happen, it's probably down to one of them not fancying it.

Queenberry chief Frank Warren said to BBC Radio 5 Live: "One judge here did not give Tyson a round from round six onwards, that's nuts. It is mad. Oscar De La Hoya had it one round from me.

"Split decision and then this, this is nonsense."

Is this the only option for Fury now?

“We wanted it two years ago!” Someone shouts as a journalist is overheard speaking on the prospect of it.

Retired world champion Oscar De La Hoya: "Congratulations Usyk, you are a gentleman and a scholar. Tyson my amigo, back to the drawing board. YOU WILL BE BACK!!"

Boxing coach David Coldwell: "Usyk wins and deservedly so for me. Body punches often go unnoticed but right from the opener Usyk worked hard to the body. Two really evenly matched fighters gave us 24 fantastic rounds of boxing. Brilliant."

Former heavyweight world champion Wladimir Klitschko speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: "We are lucky to have such an amazing champion. A legend. Just outstanding from the boxing ground. He just made history and that win is extremely important for us Ukrainians, he's putting Ukraine on the map once again.

"He's done it so many times. I don't know another person who's been as excellent as Usyk in boxing. You are a true legend.

"Some Ukrainians might not have watched that fight tonight but they will know tomorrow morning that Usyk is a champion."

The results are in: AI judge scored it 118-112 to Oleksandr Usyk, agree?

Retired cruiserweight world champion Tony Bellew on X: "Too wide but I did have him winning! I understand why, it’s the pressure and the consistency of his workrate that just takes rounds down it really is! Tyson Fury is a warrior who deserves so much respect for going back in with him."

What do you make of Daniel Dubois crashing the show and shooting his shot?

IBF heavyweight champion Dubois is currently booked to face Joseph Parker on 22 February.

If Dubois come through that is he the man to face Oleksandr Usyk next?

Does Usyk even stay at heavyweight? He has spoken about the possibility of returning to cruiserweight. How about a showdown with IBF cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia?

Thumbs up for Dubois or thumbs down for Opetaia.

Queensberry chief Frank Warren said: "How come Tyson only got four rounds in this fight? It's impossible. He's very disappointed as I am as well. Everyone along the front [of the ring] thought it was all the same way."

On Fury's future: "It's up to him. It's just after a fight and emotions are running high. It's nuts. Did you only give him four rounds out of eight? I don't get it.

"I'm really disappointed. We'll have to see what happens in the future for Tyson. I thought he was in control, boxed really well and had Usyk on his back foot."
