Arctic
From Transformers Wiki
The Arctic, containing the North Pole, is the northern most region of Earth. Temperatures there are well below the freezing point of water. This makes it an extremely dangerous place for both humans and Transformers alike, as the low temperatures have severe negative impacts on their core functions; on the other hand, at least one human is known to live here year-round.
If you're a flying Transformer, there is a good chance you've crashed here at some point.

In the years before the Great War, Starscream and Skyfire surveyed the Earth in a scientific expedition. During their survey, Skyfire crashed in the Arctic. Starscream scoured the globe for his friend but couldn't find him. Millions of years later, the Decepticons, while trying to drain Earth's core of heat energy, discovered Skyfire. He was convinced to join the Decepticons out of his friendship with Starscream, but later turned on them for their ways. All he got for his trouble was being reburied under the ice. Fire in the Sky
Later, the Autobots unburied Skyfire... when they needed a ride to South America. They couldn't have done that sooner? Fire on the Mountain
The Headmasters cartoon
The Decepticons aimed to complete their plan to use Death Towers to devastate Earth by firing a beam from the North Pole to a satellite to energize the grid. The Autobots followed them there, and a tremendous battle ensued. The Autobots were able to overcome the Decepticon weapon using the Final Formation and destroy the satellite, resulting in a general Decepticon withdrawal from Earth. Marvel The Transformers comics
Following the "Club Con" debacle, Ratbat's Decepticons relocated their island base to the Arctic, hiding it inside an ice cave. Shortly thereafter, they came into contact with another group of Decepticons led by Scorponok. Thanks to Starscream's meddling the two sides quickly fell out and began battling each other, allowing Starscream to attempt to seize the power of the Underbase for himself after leaving their human hostage Buster Witwicky alone on an ice shelf with a device capable of alerting the Autobots to his position. Cold War!
Tracking Buster's signal to the Arctic, the Autobots were immediately ambushed and set upon by both sets of Decepticons and all-out battle raged before Buster was able to convince Ratbat of Starscream's duplicity. A temporary truce was called and all groups left the Arctic to pursue the treacherous Starscream. Dark Star

Crosswise sealed a large number of Ancient Decepticons in a massive cavern near the North Pole, which gave rise to legends of the hollow Earth. Trap
When the Velocitron Cyber Planet Key was inserted into the Omega Lock, a burst of Omega Frequency led Scattorshot, Landmine, Jetfire, Red Alert, Hot Shot, Override, and the Mini-Cons and kids to investigate strange readings. They didn't find anything special; however, the kids met up with Dr. Lucy Suzuki again, and after an altercation with Starscream and Mudflap, introduced her to the Autobots. Ice
The Autobots returned to their base in Colorado, but Dr. Suzuki continued on into northern Alaska, where her team uncovered the frozen Crosswise; Colonel Franklin happened to be observing from nearby, and finally obtained proof of the existence of giant alien robots. Trust Crosswise desperately attempted to confirm that the Ancient Decepticons were still imprisoned; fortunately, they were. Unfortunately, he inadvertently led Starscream and Sideways right to them, allowing them to be released. Oops. The Autobots, having been drawn to the North Pole by the insertion of the Jungle Planet's Key into the Omega Lock, were buried in the ice as the Decepticons escaped. Trap
After a failed attempt at fighting off Starscream's army, the Autobots befriended Evac and Crosswise who revealed that they'd hidden Earth's Cyber Planet Key at the North Pole. Invasion When the Autobots decided to retreat from Earth, Evac returned to the Pole for the Key. Retreat

Age of Extinction film
65 million years ago, the Creators deployed their Seeds to terraform the Earth and harvest the resulting Transformium, leading to the extinction of the dinosaurs. The majority of the Transformium corpses were recovered by the Creators, but some still lingered even to the present day. KSI operatives discovered the metallic remains of a Tyrannosaurus rex and a Spinosaurus in the Arctic, which were presented to high-ranking member Darcy. Harold Attinger and Lockdown would later meet in the Arctic aboard the latter's ship to discuss the ongoing hunt for Optimus Prime, as well as the finer points of their strictly professional alliance. IDW movie comics
Questing after the AllSpark, Megatron approached Earth, but hit a "radiation blind spot" in the planet's upper atmosphere, and lost track of the cube. He made his landing near the planet's north pole. Unfortunately, he landed on relatively thin ice, which quickly gave way under his weight and the heat from his atmospheric entry. The freezing water quickly sent his systems into a dormant state somewhat akin to stasis lock. Movie Prequel #2
Ghosts of Yesterday
Sector Seven established the Sector Seven High Arctic Base (SSAB) in the arctic where they kept the Ice Man in deep freeze. In 1969 Ghost 1 was launched from this base at the same time Apollo 11 was launched from Florida. Also in that year, the Ice Man was moved to a secret base near Las Vegas Nevada. The SSAB was closed soon thereafter. Ghosts of Yesterday

Bulkhead and Bumblebee found a strange pod in the Arctic and took it back to base. A short time later, Optimus Prime and Arcee returned to the Arctic to search for clues as to where the pod had come from. Unfortunately the pod contained a large number of Scraplets, which proceeded to damage the base enough that they couldn't use the GroundBridge, and Optimus and Arcee were effectively stranded there. They sought out shelter as their temperatures dropped, but just when it seemed like all was lost, the GroundBridge opened again so Bulkhead could lead the Scraplets through. The creatures froze more or less on contact with the frigid Arctic air and fell to the ground, allowing the three Autobots to return to base. Scrapheap
Starscream located a huge but unmineable deposit of energon in the Arctic and began using a heat ray to melt the glacier it was trapped in. The melting ice would have flooded coastal cities worldwide, had the Autobots not arrived and destroyed the heat ray. Out of His Head
When a mind-wiped Optimus was tricked into joining the Decepticons, Arcee managed to sneak onto the Nemesis in search of the Autobot leader. She was merely feet away from a meeting with Optimus when Soundwave forcibly ejected her from the ship with a Ground Bridge, dropping her in the Arctic. Orion Pax, Part 1
During the Autobot attack on Darkmount, Ultra Magnus used the Iron Will to lead the Decepticons' cloned Predacon away from the fortress, tricking it into entering a GroundBridge to the Arctic, where it froze in a blizzard. Rebellion The Predacon later broke free from its icy slumber and escaped back to the Nemesis. Chain of Command
Rescue Bots
When a large quantum crystal that was stored in the Griffin Rock time capsule made contact with a reactaline vein buried under the island, Griffin Rock was suddenly transported to the Arctic. This naturally plunged the island into a blizzard, for which the Mayor Luskey Dome was activated once the backup generators were de-iced. Now and Then As the generators exhausted their energy supply, Dani Burns and Blades were sent out for help. Their search was halted when Blades was hit by a chuck of falling ice, which caused him to return to the stranded Griffin Rock. There, Doc Greene conceived of a plan to lift up the island with floatium and propel it with the rocket from the Sigma, which succeeded in moving Griffin Rock out of the Arctic and eventually to its original position. Cyberverse cartoon
Under Shockwave's orders, Slipstream piloted her magnetic disruptor to the North Pole where, in tandem with its twin at the South Pole, it would shut down Earth's geomagnetic field, destroying all organic life on the planet and allowing the Decepticons to quickly scour the empty globe and find the AllSpark. Unable to reach the South Pole in time, the Autobots attacked the ship at the North Pole, destroying it. Shockwave only viewed this as a minor setback, however, having loaded one of his drones onto the Autobots' commandeered cargo plane. The Extinction Event

- ↑ This location comes from the Transformers mobile phone game, it includes Witwicky's base camp, and the ice cave where Megatron had been found. Unfortunately this location is landlocked and cannot possibly be correct. The map used by the game shows the Greeland landmass... but not the ice sheet, which is probably the source of the boo-boo.
