Licença de Assets

Todos os assets (HDRIs, texturas e modelos 3D) neste site são o trabalho original da equipe da Poly Haven, ou artistas que voluntariamente e diretamente doam/vendem seu trabalho para a Poly Haven.

Nossos assets são todos licenciados como CC0, que é efetivamente Domínio público mesmo em jurisdições que não suportam o Domínio Público.

Por que CC0?

Acreditamos que os benefícios de usar esta licença superam as desvantagens óbvias para nós como empresa.

Sim, é possível que usuários antiéticos possam revender (e revendem) nosso trabalho para seu próprio lucro, ao custo de clientes desavisados que não sabiam que estavam comprando conteúdo que poderiam obter aqui gratuitamente.

Mas o que a indústria 3D como um todo ganha com o nosso trabalho disponível gratuitamente é imensurável

A arte 3D também é apenas a ponta do iceberg, sabemos de vários cientistas de dados, desenvolvedores de software, engenheiros automotivos e pesquisadores de IA, todos usando nossos assets em seu trabalho, o que simplesmente não seria possível com licenças mais restritivas (até mesmo as de código aberto).

Não temos nada contra os direitos autorais em geral, simplesmente acreditamos que podemos fazer bem ao mundo fornecendo o máximo de liberdade possível.

Although our assets are shared under the CC0 license, and our code is open source, we maintain a standard Terms of Service agreement to prevent any misuse of this website (polyhaven.com).
