The machine that builds the machines. Ideas and prototypes are great, but Operations allows us to build and deliver at scale. Freefly wants to leave a big dent in the world, and you can’t do that if the system isn't functioning seamlessly.

Scarf Squad
One day our CEO Tabb noticed a disproportionately high rate of scarf wearage in the marketing team, and named them the ‘scarf squad’. In addition to wearing scarves, they keep Freefly’s brand, content, and creative stunning and fresh. We take toys from Engineering and crank out videos that blow the world away… like dronesurfing.

Freefly lives by the motto: ‘Create more value than you capture.’ We’ve introduced products that have allowed customers to build exciting businesses and taken them in entirely new directions. Profitability is critical for a self funded evergreen company; it's where our RnD budget comes from!
Profit Sharing
Aligning Freefly and Employees
Freefly intends to be a private, profitable, and market leading company with no near term intention to sell the business. We want to attract, retain, the best team members who are motivated to build a meaningful, world changing company. Freefly contributes 15% of our profit to an employee bonus bank and distributes on a yearly basis.
The goals of this program:
Encourage the efficient use of capital by rewarding team for delivering profits
Focus team on long term performance
Encourages Freefly to distribute excess (unproductive) cash
Provides uncapped cash compensation for employees
Gives employees the ability to directly control their earnings
