Delete No evidence he play in the main WBC tournament and clearly otherwise does not pass NBASE nor any special coverage that would suggest GNG (I detail more about why his minor league coverage does not satisify GNG here. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 18:17, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Delete He was not listed on the roster for the Israeli team for the main WBC tournament[1] and doesn't appear to meet any other criteria of WP:NBASEBALL. In addition, coverage is just routine sports reporting, stat lists, etc. which fail to show WP:GNG is met. Papaursa (talk) 23:15, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Keep Per WP:NBASE I believe his appearances in the qualifier for both 2013 and 2017 meet the criteria. He was a member of a national team for a major international tournament. I do not see any reason qualifiers are excluded from that. - Galatz גאליץ ^{שיחה Talk} 14:36, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Galatz, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Iggy Suarez just closed as delete a couple weeks ago. Suarez's only potential claim to WP:NBASE was the 2017 WBC qualifier. WP:BASEBALL consensus is that the qualifier isn't the tournament. – Muboshgu (talk) 15:34, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
