we should search archives for creation date, should be in first half of 16th century. After that we need to track the land ownership in the centuries, providing that was incorporated in the Barony if Torpichen in 1563. So at one point later it has been taken out of that barony. there's no evidence suggests Mordington is a lordship, just a barony erected in right of regality
