Photo of Mandy Patinkin?

Actor Mandy Patinkin photographed on January 13, 2012 by Bearian

I hope this will be a stress-reducing thought, but I used a photo from Commons (by Bearian) to illustrate a DYK about the recent live read of the 1987 movie The Princess Bride. Wishing you well and thanks for your many Wikipedia efforts! HouseOfChange (talk) 01:53, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much, HouseOfChange! Bearian (talk) 23:04, 6 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
What a great role model, both in the movie and out of it! I envy you the opportunity to take this photo. HouseOfChange (talk) 00:29, 7 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:39, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Assistance?

[edit]

Hi. I see you are an admin (or former admin?) who spoke up at this talk page in the past. Given that, can you perhaps take a look here, and weigh in (or if you are an admin, wave a wand?). In my view, with which you may or may not agree (I see though of course it is not relevant that you say you voted against this politician, so I think you are positioned to be especially even-handed; I, btw, never voted for him either), I'm facing an editor who is not being quite cricket when he deletes rs supported material as alleged "campaign material." Thank you. Cheers. 2604:2000:E010:1100:49E7:A2AA:BFE8:5813 (talk) 01:51, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Chicago District Golf Association

[edit]

It's definitely not apparent from the article as written, no. But I have no access to Chicago-area media archives to determine whether or not it could pass WP:GNG on media coverage that we've missed, so I'm not really the best person to ask. I'd suggest either approaching Wikipedia:WikiProject Chicago, or taking a stab at listing it for prod or AFD. Bearcat (talk) 20:12, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
