Perran Moon is a British Labour Party politician who has served as MP for Camborne and Redruth since 2024.[1]
Early life[edit]
Moon is from Redruth. His mother was a nurse and his father, Charles, was a GP. Moon attended Trewirgie School.[2]

Moon stood in the Camborne and Redruth constituency in the 2024 general election following the retirement of George Eustice.[3] He polled first of seven, defeating Conservative candidate Connor Donnithorne and five others.

Personal life[edit]
Moon lived and raised his children in Oxfordshire before moving back to Cornwall after his youngest left home.[2] He is a director of an electric vehicle charging point business that uses only sustainable energy.[2]
