Massino Maspeth

edit
  • Found this on the left side PLACE OF BIRTH: Maspeth, New York. It also has "Massino married Josephine Vitale in 1960, the couple had two daughters, Adeline and Joanne.
  • In "The Last Godfather: The Rise And Fall of Joey Massino By Simon Crittle" pg. 50 it has Josephine Vitale was born in Sicily, her brother Sal was born in America they lived in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Again he married Josephine in 1960 but had three daughters, they lived in Maspeth on Caldwell Avenue. --Vic49 (talk) 22:27, 22 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
KoG DeStefano has "three daughters": Adeline and Joanne (she's the youngest); he does not say the last daughters name, daily mail has it Linda (?). Last Godfather by Crittle has three. But in five families by Raab pg.682 he only has two daughters at the case. Unless the last one didnt show up if or there is no third daughter? But I think the name Linda was confused with his mistress Linda Lucci she is mentioned in both KOG and LG. --Vic49 (talk) 23:19, 22 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

edit

After an expansion, copy-edit, and clean-up by Kaguya-chan and, to a lesser extent, by me, I'd like to ask you to examine if the article fulfills the B-class criteria and if it does so, to promote it. If it doesn't, advice and/or comments on what it needs to be promoted would be greatly appreciated. I'm asking a third party to do it because me and KC might have been a little bit subjective in the assessment, since we were the main contributors. I'll understand if you don't have time or aren't in the mood. Thank you. Hula Hup (talk) 13:23, 9 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

I see that I put "Robert Gay" in a Reference title. I wanted to shorten it. Actually, My referencing isnt Poor, I havent even saw 1 person have more than 5 Reference's for a "Gangster". It is was really hard to find Reference's under Robert Mormando, I tried to post more thing's about him and the most Important thing about him was that he is Gay and it is very Unusual to find a "Gangster" that is gay and is usually killed for breaking Omerta also he dated John Gotti's nephew which I also find quite Important. I havent seen any person on Wikipedia Referencing and having as much Information on a Gangster apart from me. Im actually considered The "Wikipedia Five Familie's Leader", Haha. Have a great week.

Mafia term

edit

The term Mafia is not the official name for organized crime it's a media term. I think it would be a good idea to drop the "American" part off and just use Mafia, linking it to the American Mafia article. So the lead of the article would be He is a member of the Mafia (Cosa Nostra) it would be good not to link the "Cosa Nostra" to the Sicilian Mafia article since they are different organizations. The Mafia in American uses the term Cosa Nostra to describe itself. --Vic49 (talk) 21:30, 18 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Maybe it could be He was a member of the Mafia (Cosa Nostra, in English "Our Thing") it maybe a good idea to link "Our Thing" to the Etymology section of the Sicilian Mafia article.--Vic49 (talk) 21:54, 18 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
I agree Mafia (Cosa Nostra) has a simple look and the reader flows through the sentence easily. The Sicilian Mafia article explains that in America the government official uses the term "La Cosa Nostra" to describe the Mafia. I think Cosa Nostra would be just fine since its the governments usage and no member refers to it as "La Cosa Nostra" its just "Cosa Nostra" to them. Which is bettter? --Vic49 (talk) 22:15, 18 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hey, would you mind making your move request at Eric the Actor into a formalized one using the method from WP:RM? That way, once the discussion is closed, it can be moved by an admin, since the move is not currently one that can be done by a regular editor. Or alternatively you could request it as a non controversial move, depending on how you feel about that.--Yaksar (let's chat) 06:19, 24 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello from the team at Featured article review!

edit

We are preparing to take a closer look at Featured articles promoted in 2004–2010 that may need a review. We started with a script-compiled list of older FAs that have not had a recent formal review. The next step is to prune the list by removing articles that are still actively maintained, up-to-date, and believed to meet current standards. We know that many of you personally maintain articles that you nominated, so we'd appreciate your help in winnowing the list where appropriate.

Please take a look at the sandbox list, check over the FAs listed by your name, and indicate on the sandbox talk page your assessment of their current status. Likewise, if you have taken on the maintenance of any listed FAs that were originally nominated by a departed editor, please indicate their status. BLPs should be given especially careful consideration.

Your draft article, Draft:Fahrenheit 451 (unreleased film)

edit

Hello, Lenin and McCarthy. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Fahrenheit 451".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Legacypac (talk) 06:46, 7 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
