editThank you for your contributions. It seems that you may have added public domain content to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as Princess Astrid Coast. You are welcome to import appropriate public domain content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. There are several methods to do this described at Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Public-domain sources, including the usage of an attribution template. Please make sure that any public domain content you have already imported is fully attributed. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 13:57, 20 May 2019 (UTC)

You may also choose to make a statement and/or answer the optional questions to supplement the information your nominator has given. Once you are satisfied with the page, you may post your nomination for discussion, or request that your nominator do so.- Jwale2 (talk) 05:12, 8 September 2022 (UTC) |
@Jwale2: Do you think this is a good idea? I note that this user has not edited this month, never participated in any obvious maintenance tasks, and their last 100 mainspace edits go back a year. As an alternative, you could suggest they file a poll on WP:ORCP to judge their suitability as an administrator. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 12:55, 8 September 2022 (UTC)
- Hello @Ritchie333 The requirement is not a problem i can get all of the requirement checked in a couple of weeks from edits in mainspaces, to maintainance tasks. As for edits in this month. That should not be a problem because I am capable of making a 1000 good edits in a week.
- My problem is that there is no english wikipedia admin in Africa at the moment which makes it difficult for Africans to contribute to English Wikipedia due to IP block issues which most of the users here are ignorant of it.Since most of them don't come from a technical background to understand what goes into these IP block and range block issues. This problem is currently causing a lot of harm to the African region. Sometimes I do receive over 50 usernames from event organizers in the African region here just to get an admin to help them with IP block exemptions for the period in which they organize their campaigns and events. But this becomes difficult for me to get an admin to do all this work.
- So whatever it will take for me to get an adminship rights to support the African communities I am willing to that the step in other to reduce the harm been caused in the African region. Since I do understand how the African couriers do work especially the Sub-saharan region with regards to IPs and proxies. If you are willing to provide guide and support then I have no problem.
- If you suggest I should use the poll. That's no problem I can use the poll but I will like to let you know that this needs to be achieved as soon as possible in other to reduce the trending issue here in Africa until a better solution is been implemented to eradicate the cause of the problem that is at stake at the moment.
- To conclude it all, I do have the feeling that @Jwale2 nominated me because he knows my background and knows that since I am the community lead for the African Wikimedia Technical Community I will be of good help to the African region. JDQ Joris Darlington Quarshie (talk) 09:02, 9 September 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Ritchie333, thanks for the feedback. You made mention of the fact that Joris Darlington Quarshie has done a little or no edit in the past months. Kindly take note all effort to do that has been put into developing and engaging the African Wikimedia Technical Community (AWMTC). Joris is building the community with the knowledge and skill he has, so kindly grant him the admin rights in other to support the community when it comes to IP block and other technically issues. Thanks Jwale2 (talk) 13:51, 9 September 2022 (UTC)

editWhy are you posting to User talk:Zzuuzz/Archive 43 rather than User talk:Zzuuzz? I have reverted your edits to the archive, which has instructions at the top not to post to it, twice.--Bbb23 (talk) 12:40, 21 June 2023 (UTC)
- Then i have not seen the instructions yet. Thanks a lot for alerting me via my talk page. All this while i thought i was reaching out to @Zzuuzz on his talk page. JDQ Joris Darlington Quarshie (talk) 12:45, 21 June 2023 (UTC)
- Just noticed it at the top of the archive. But kindly clarify this for me. It's an archive which has recent edits on that archive page with other users sending in IPBE request for their communities and other requests for something different too.
- So i will like to understand why my edit request for IPBE from him were reverted and others weren't. Also, I quite remember @Zzuuzz himself shared the archive link with me to rather join the list of users from the sub saharan region who normally request for IPBE for their community members. I feel he didn't want his main talk page to be bombarded with all of these request that's why he might have sent me the archive link to rather share such information on his archive talk page.
- So kindly get in touch with him to discuss this issue.
- Thanks JDQ Joris Darlington Quarshie (talk) 13:07, 21 June 2023 (UTC)
- To be honest, I'm not sure what's going on. Zzuuzz has not been on-wiki in almost a week, and I don't know when he's returning. It would be odd to use an archive in the manner you describe, but zzuuzz is not a conventional editor. Inasmuch as nothing can be done in response to your post until he comes back, why don't you discuss it with him when he returns? I have no special way of getting in touch with him.--Bbb23 (talk) 13:21, 21 June 2023 (UTC)
- Okay sure. I will discuss that with him once i recieve a feedback from him on his main talk page. However, I need this list checked and resolved for some users within this region. So please do try and resolve it for me once you do have the time. Please also update me incase of any situations related to any account.
