Scott Stevens -- Let's keep the video in at least

edit

I have no disagreement with you except for your removal of the video. You can deny all you want about whether Stevens left his feet or not (he clearly did; that's not me talking, it's the video), but the readers of the article should be able to see it and then decide for themselves. I'm therefore reverting your removal of the video. Ericster08 (talk) 18:18, 4 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

RE: Stevens

edit

Will do. That sounds fair. If it turns out that the video is COPYVIO, well, then I guess that's the way it goes. It's just that I know youtube isn't accepted as a valid source on Wikiquote, so I assumed the same applied for Wikipedia itself and that's why I went with a non-youtube site for the video. Actually I think the Kozlov video should be included not so much about the whole "leaving his feet" issue (that boils down to people's personal opinion, of which there are no wrong answers), but more to show the site visitors the hit itself because it is such a memorable moment in Stanley Cup Finals history.

Thanks for listening and good luck in your political career. Ericster08 (talk) 00:40, 5 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi future,

Just curious, what's the story with the Zajac article in your sandbox? (FYI: the only reason that I know about it is because it is still categorized. If you don't want people finding it, you can remove or comment out the categorization).

Just working on overhauling it, and wanted to keep everything in one location so when it's done, I can just copy & paste it to mainspace. Anthony (talk) 20:24, 30 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Cool. I figured that what what was going on, but I was curious. As I said, you might want to temporarily remove the categorization from the copy in your userspace, is all. Regards,

Hi FutureNJGov. I've just recently nominated Jacob Josefson for GA. Since you edit Devils-related articles, do you have any suggestions for the article? Speedy deletion nomination of File:Swedenhockey.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Swedenhockey.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.   Hi FutureNJGov! I am Galendalia and I have revived the WikiProject for Spoken Wikipedia. I noticed that you signed up at some point to be a participant and as I am reviving this project, one of my tasks is to get the participant list in order. Would you please go to the Participants List and add your name and language(s) you speak? If you are already there and do not want to be, please remove yourself. If you want to remain, please put remain next to your name. If I do not see anything, I will move you to the inactive participant list. I am putting a timeline of 7 days on this action to help keep things moving along. It would also be great if you would be willing to join the task force for Pronunciation that would be awesome, as there are troublesome words we run into.

Thank you for considering joining us. If you decide to leave, I will be sad   to see you leave as so many people have done a great job on the recordings and any work you have done makes a significant difference.

Proposed deletion of Olivier Anken

edit

The article Olivier Anken has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No apparent notability and only a single source. More than likely fails WP:SPORTSPERSON; only 238 results on Google for the player (even without quotation marks or -Wikipedia search parameter).

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
