NCIDose is a collection of medical radiation dosimetry tools developed by medical physicists from the National Cancer Institute (NCI), Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics, Radiation Epidemiology Branch. These tools can be used to estimate the radiation organ doses received by patients undergoing diagnostic radiation procedures. The resources are the product of years of research and development in collaboration with a number of institutions, much of which has been published in the peer-reviewed literature. As a governmental resource, these tools are available to the public free of charge for non-commercial research purposes.
