Biography

Breath of the Wild

Kayden is a Zora who runs the Seabed Inn in Zora's Domain. He is married to his childhood friend, Kodah, and the two of them have a daughter, Finley, together.[2]

When Kayden is first approached by Link, he will recognize him from his visits to Zora's Domain 100 years ago.[5] However, he does not stay on the topic for long, and he will return to his duties tending to the Seabed Inn.[6]

After Divine Beast Vah Ruta has been appeased, Kayden will ask Link where he has been for the past 100 years.[7] He will also begin to inform Link about of his marriage to Kodah, but he cuts himself off to remain professional.[8] He appears to be relieved that the Rain has ended.[9]

Through the Seabed Inn, Kayden offers a place for Link to rest.[10] The Seabed Inn is capable of providing a regular Bed or a Water Bed for guests to sleep in.[11] If Link asks about the Water Bed, Kayden explains that it is a Bed made of Water, which makes it cool and comfortable.[12]

If Link decides to stay at the Inn, Kayden asks him what time he wants to wake up.[13][14] After Link chooses the time, Kayden tells him to sleep well.[15][16][17] Once Link wakes up, Kayden notes that he appears to have had a good sleep.[18][19][20] If Link utilized the Water Bed, Kayden will also add in the hope that he enjoyed it.[21][22][23]
