뉴질랜드의학협회(NZMA)는 뉴질랜드의 일부 의사와 의대생을 대표하는 협회다. 1886년 4월 두네딘병원에서 회의를 거쳐 정식 설립되었다.[1][2][3] 1896년부터 1967년까지 NZMA는 영국의료협회 지부로 간주되었고 1970년대까지는 영국의료협회 뉴질랜드지부로 알려져 있었다.[3] 1960년대에 이 협회와 갈등을 빚었던 에리히 게이닝거는 뉴질랜드 의사협회를 설립하여 혼란의 잠재력을 이용했다(이 이름이 공식적으로 자유로워졌기 때문이다). 게링거의 NZMA는 많은 진보적인 의사들을 포함했고 정치적인 논쟁에 매우 관여했다.[4]
NZMA는 세계 의학 협회의[5][6] 일부분이며 뉴질랜드 의학 저널을 발행한다.
