버니스 맥노튼 고등학교(일반적으로 버니스 맥노튼, 맥노튼 또는 BMHS로 약칭)는 캐나다 뉴브런즈윅 주 몬트턴에 있는 고등학교다.

이름

버니스 맥노튼 고등학교는 멕톤 선생님인 L. 버니스 맥노튼 박사의 이름을 따서 지어졌으며, 이전에는 닥터 L. 버니스 맥노튼 고등학교로 알려져 있었다.[7]

역사

1975년[8] 무역학교로 설립된 버니스 맥노튼은 원래 1,400명의 학생을 수용했다. 1994년 맥노튼 과학기술센터(MSTC)가 되었지만 1999년 9학년 학생들로만 구성된 고등학교로 다시 설립됐다.[7] 2003년 BMHS의 첫 졸업반이었던 맥노튼은 2000년과 2003년 사이에 수백만 달러의 대대적인 리노베이션(리노베이션)을 받았다. 추가적으로 새로운 체육관과 몇 개의 교실, 조경, 추가 조명, 진입로 재조명 등이 있다. 그 강당은 2006년에 보수되었다. 2008년까지 학교 구내식당의 지붕이 새로 완공되었다.[8]

코스

하우스 시스템

Bernice MacNaughton has captured New Brunswick Interscholastic Athletic Association (NBIAA) sports titles in 12 man football (2004, 2006–2008, 2011), girls' field hockey (2005), AAA junior girls' basketball (2005–2006), AAA senior girls' basketball (2007), junior men's wrestling (2005), and AAA senior boys' volleyball (2007).[14]

바이크 클럽

BMHS의 학생회는 다음과 같은 13개 직위로 구성된다.

학교의 학생 정부 회원은 의무적이며, 학생들은 학교의 명목 등록금을 납부하면 정부의 일반 회원으로 인정된다.[21] 내년 선거는 전년도 5월 1일(5월 1일) 이후 첫 금요일에 치러진다. 수석 재무관은 면접을 통해 선출된다. 학년대표는 10월에 선발된다.
