WPG’S SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING STATEMENT
WPG Holdings Limited (“WPGH”) is the largest electronics distributor in Asia and the world with headquarters in Taipei, Taiwan (TSE:3702), which serves worldwide suppliers and customers globally through its sub-groups and subsidiaries. WPGH established "WPG Corporate Sustainability Committee" with 6 large functional groups to implement corporate sustainability businesses and policies.
WPGH together with its subsidiaries collectively refer to as “WPG”.

Pursuant to laws/directives below and our cooperate social responsibility, this statement demonstrates WPG’s position of strictly opposing any form of human trafficking and slavery and set out the steps WPG would take to ensure the human-right abuses would not be taken place in any our supply chains. These are our ongoing measures:
Laws/ directives related to anti-human rights abuses:
- United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Trafficking.
- EU Charter of fundamental Rights Title I, Article 5.
- The California Transparency in Supply Chains Act (2010).
- United Kingdom Modern Slavery Act (2015)
- Australian Federal Modern Slavery Act (2018) & New South Wales Modern Slavery Act (2018)
- Similar laws/ directives to be enacted from time to time.
Core value
Corporate development is closely related to global sustainable development. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is largely associated with large companies. WPG upholds the core values of "Teamwork, Integrity, Professionalism and Effectiveness" in order to cope with our business development and social and environmental responsibility. In the future, WPG will continue reviewing of our sustainable development strategy in order to contribute to a shared future for mankind and the earth.
Human Rights and Labor-Management Communication
WPG attaches great importance to employee rights and interests, and has formulated and announced the “WPG Human Rights Policy” in 2020 with reference to relevant regulation of "The United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights", "The United Nations Global Compact" and "International Labor Organization Convention". WPG has dedicated efforts in safeguarding the basic human rights, with strict compliance with local laws and regulations, and continued to improve the management of human rights issues in cooperation with its partners by conducting human rights education and training courses to establish a more favorable, free, fair and respectful work environment.
In addition, WPG do not tolerate the use of forced labor, child labor or human trafficking. The followings are WPG’s standards:
1.1 Participate, directly or indirectly, in any forms of the trading or coerced transport of people for the purpose of exploitation. 1.2 Engage in or promote or assist in the sexual exploitation of others. 1.3 Use force or involuntary labor in the performance of any work. 1.4 Retain identity or immigration documents of any individual or deny access by that individual to these documents.
Sustainable Supply Chain Management
WPG has established Conflict Minerals Regulations in order to dedicate efforts to avoid the use of conflict minerals in the products distributed, and has promoted supply chain transparency and customer awareness through information disclosure. We conduct due diligence to ensure our critical suppliers’ products are conflict-free to fulfill corporate social responsibility, and we aim to create a sustainable electronic supply chain along with customers and suppliers. In the future, WPG will continue to conduct supply chain due-diligence annually to meet supply chain management targets.
WPG Supplier Code of Conduct
In order to implement supplier management effectively, WPG have formulated WPG Supplier Code of Conduct in accordance with the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA; formerly known as EICC) Code of Conduct, which consists of five aspects, including labor, health and safety, environment, ethics and management systems.
WPG will continue to review our auditing, verifying and certifying practices and processes to ensure the achievement of the aims described in the statement.
