- It is proposed that this property apply sometimes to ethnic groups. If anyone wants that functionality, can you please add an example to the proposal? Currently all the examples are by regions. Bluerasberry (talk) 20:10, 12 November 2023 (UTC)
- I can't see any reasonable use for this property for ethnic groups alone, unless it's for the combination of a particular ethnic group in a particular place; the world is too diverse, and most ethnic groups span many countries. If it was to be for "ethnic group in place", how would that be represented? Would there have to be items for each combination of "X in Y"? The Anome (talk) 14:09, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
- For now, I don't plan to upload any data related to maternal mortality ratio for ethnic groups. Like User:The Anome said, maternal mortality data for some indigenous groups living in a particular geographical location is available, but this isn't something I am interested in pursuing at least for now.--Netha Hussain (talk) 19:26, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
- For me, I think that I can add death rate (P10091) statements to postpartum period (Q749115). I can use country (P17) and ethnic group (P172) as the attributes. Something similar has been done to COVID-19 pandemic (Q81068910). --Csisc (talk) 14:10, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
- This seems to me to be an elegant solution that doesn't require the creation of a new property. Failing adoption of this, the creation of a new property would be my second choice. This is definitely a statistic which should be added to Wikidata. The Anome (talk) 18:09, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support, an important property for mathematics.--Arbnos (talk) 20:45, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
