•  Oppose per Jean-Frédéric. The database is indeed using the same ID, regardless of whether it's the developer or the publisher. If we take this company as an example and check both pages (see [1], [2]), there is really zero difference and therefore no point in creating a new separate property. I think the ideal solution here is to simply rename VideoGameGeek company ID (P10511) to VideoGameGeek company ID and use the new universal formatter URL https://videogamegeek.com/company/$1 (preferred rank), which redirects to both developer and publisher. While https://videogamegeek.com/videogamedeveloper/$1 and https://videogamegeek.com/videogamepublisher/$1 (normal rank) can be used as additional formatter URLs (see).
