Motivation

A large database of people (and other concepts) related to Vienna around 1900, arguably one of the pinnacles of Modernism (hence the name). Maintained by the Austrian Academy of Sciences (Q299015), this project contains many useful facts and links both within the Academy’s projects and beyond. I already reached out to the maintainers and expect to start a large import in the weeks and months following the property’s creation.
