Personhood

[edit]

I'm quite uncomfortable with this being a subclass of person (Q215627), Infovarius, as for many languages (at least according to the sitelinks) the concept of being humanoid does not imply personhood. I see that, according to google translate, there are articles that define them as reasonable (the Russian and the Kazakh one which also refer to them as fictional/mythological beings) and for some I'm not sure if they do it. But the majority just defines humanoid beings as beings of human shape, without any assumptions concerning characteristics like reason, morality, identity, etc. Many of them explicitly refer to robots as examples or illustrate their articles with pictures of human-shaped robots.
So I would suggest to follow Fractalers proposal and replace P279 person (Q215627) with something more general (e.g. P279 physical object (Q223557)). - Valentina.Anitnelav (talk) 08:35, 10 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
