Disambiguation needed
[edit]Many of the sitelinks should be moved to Norwegian Wikipedias (Q58691283), and the corresponding Wikipedia article be renamed accordingly. - Soulkeeper (talk) 16:29, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
- @Soulkeeper: Not such simply actions, to me there're confusions that won't be changed unless and until if no.wikipedia *domain* can be changed to nb.wikipedia (phab:T147164). --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 13:24, 16 November 2018 (UTC)
- To clarify, let me give some examples:
- English en:Norwegian Wikipedia is about both versions. "There are two Norwegian language editions of Wikipedia: one for articles written in Bokmål or Riksmål, and one for articles written in Nynorsk or Høgnorsk."
- German de:Norwegischsprachige Wikipedias is about both versions. "Die norwegischsprachigen Wikipedias sind zwei Sprachversionen der Wikipedia."
- bg:Уикипедия на норвежки език (букмол) seems to be about only the Bokmål version (букмол means bokmål).
- tr:Norveççe Vikipedi also seems to be about only Bokmål/Riksmål. "İki Norveççe Vikipedi sürümü vardır: bir tanesi Bokmål (veya bazen Riksmål) Norveççesi".
- So Wikipedia in Norwegian is a separate topic from Wikipedia in Bokmål/Riksmål, regardless of the domain names. Some of the articles should perhaps be rewritten to clarify, others should possibly be renamed, and others still probably be moved from this item to Q58691283. It all depends on the content of each particular article. - Soulkeeper (talk) 13:33, 16 November 2018 (UTC)
- @Soulkeeper: So there's a better country (P17) value that should be used for Q58691283: Wikipedia article covering multiple topics (Q21484471), and I can try my best to confirm that:

- Anyway I would invite @Jeblad: to handle this mixed problem. --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 14:41, 17 November 2018 (UTC)

- To clarify, let me give some examples:
- This project Norwegian Wikipedias (Q191769) is not closed, and will never be closed. The entry Norwegian Wikipedias (Q32176383) (previous Norwegian Wikipedias (Q58691283)) is a confused entry about a name change that has never been fully implemented. Now Norwegian Wikipedias (Q191769) has been renamed to “Wikipedia på bokmål” for all practical purposes, and the confused entry Norwegian Wikipedias (Q32176383) is meaningless. It has although been used in a lot of items, and that create problems. Jeblad (talk) 14:33, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
- Note that the confusing page w:no:Wikipedia på bokmål og riksmål is deleted at nowiki, following the link will bring you to w:no:Wikipedia på norsk, and the bogus page only lingers on as the item Norwegian Wikipedias (Q32176383). That item is up for deletion. Jeblad (talk) 22:09, 7 February 2020 (UTC)
