Engineer in Training
At Vale, EITs will receive guidance and assistance to accelerate their personal development.
The EIT program provides engineering students and recent graduates with acceptable engineering work experience as they pursue their P.Eng licensing.
They will learn about our business and culture, while being exposed to different engineering methods and technical skills they require for their specialized engineering field. EITs will be encouraged to share innovative ideas to transform the business.

Vale’s Geologist-in-Training (GIT) program provides world-class training and development in a well-established training program across Vale operations in Canada.
This is a developmental technical position that will allow the right candidate to shape our mining operations as well as grow into a technical leadership role.

About the program

The Global Trainee Program is a developmental program which helps young professionals embark on a rewarding career. Trainees will have the opportunity to build their professional network by working with experienced leaders to develop their skills. The program uses job rotations to help graduates acquire diverse work experience through multidisciplinary projects, allowing them to further their professional development.
