Bentley supposed she had rolled off the production line at some point and sat on a lot somewhere. She had no memory of that, of course; she had no memory at all until a thin, lanky creature crawled in and said, “You’re mine.” And so she was. The story of the ineffables, as told through the eyes of Bentley.

"With the roar of the fire, my heart rose to its feet, like the ashes of ash I saw rise in the heat settle soft and as pure as snow, I fell in love with the fire long ago." Crowley disliked living in the Bentley nearly as much as it did.

Crowley agrees to watch the bookshop and Jim while Aziraphale takes the Bentley on his quest. (What he doesn't realize is that nobody besides him has ever driven his Bentley, and he is a lot more connected than he originally thought.) "Impossibly, his ears got more vibrant. Crowley’s eyes snapped open wide. He was bewildered, did he not already say he was connected to the Bentley? Surely, Aziraphale realized what that meant." ________________ Or, the result of thinking, "If Crowley can feel when Aziraphale's driving under the speed limit, what else can he feel?" Crack being taken seriously, perhaps.

Crowley told Aziraphale that "you can't leave this bookshop." Crowley soon finds out that neither can he.

The love of an angel and a demon can have unexpected effects. 1799 - 2019

Aziraphale's bookshop and Crowley's Bentley have become quite close over the years. Keeping an eye on one wayward principality and one vaguely sauntering demon isn't the easiest job, but someone's got to do it. Especially when, post-Armadidn't, Heaven and Hell decide that Aziraphale and Crowley need to be dealt with. But they've picked a fight with the wrong car and bookshop.
