Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Platform

Veeam Data Platform is straightforward and works. It easily backs up my environment and is flexible in what infrastructure it will apply to.

  • Feature tour at update would be nice
  • Virtualized workloads
  • Endpoints and physical servers running Windows & Linux
  • In addition to back up, we also replicate some of these workloads

we have a dozen workloads, and this was about how many we expected to support with this tool.

Price of previous tool, and simplicity of management had us move
We utilize cloud replication to have offsite backups as well as on premise backups
I have had to recover file-share backups through veeam and was successful
This product was both not enterprise appropriate, but very user unfriendly. Upgrading to veeam was a great decision

It has been user friendly and reliable with zero issues since implementation. Set up and updates have been straightforward, with no need for support in either process. Backups have always restored successfully, both in production and testing. And with a diverse environment, veeam has played well with most all hardware and software we have in use.

Integrating Veeam Data Platform

Integrating veeam into our other tools has been a very painless process from day one. Setting up 3rd party cloud repositories, or replicating between datadomains has been straight forward. Having read the options for m365, I expect no issue intefrating that as well into our veeam platform in the near future.

Integration with veeam is straight forward as long as you are using a supported application and tool. Veeam provides extensive support and knowledge bases in order to empower it's users to make it work within the environment they need it to. If your need goes beyond the knowledgebase, veeam support is ready and able to assist you beyond.
