This little plastic ring makes a big difference!
I update all my cable (I have done by myself some years ago) in order to replace all the old adhesive labels.
Now all the cables are very clear, and it's impossible to make mistakes!
I suggest to everyone that uses NEUTRIK connectors to spend a few cents to update all their cables.
You can put the ring in the "already solder" cables! It's fantastic! It's a little engineering jewel!
Maybe I'm being a bit thick but these don't seem to work the way they seem like they should, which considering we're talking about a ring of plastic seems a bit ridiculous.
I bought a bunch of these to allow bespoke labelling on some mic cables I've made and they seem to be too narrow to do the job. They fit if your cable is very narrow gauge but are too small if you are using better quality cable.
This is a fantastic product. I was already using the color coding rings from neutrik but this one is good for detailing connections. One little strip of code gets fully protected by the ring and never gets off. No more struggling with claer tape or deconnecting labels and transparant shrink tube.
Fully functional, but a little bit tight when applying labels underneath...

I bought a stack of these when I was wiring in my patchbays for the purpose of labelling all of my XLR connectors. Very handy that the Neutrik XLR connectors take the 6mm Brother label, but the only inconvenience is that these end up going on so tight that they squash the label out of the way in the process.
If anyone from Neutrik is reading this: please make these so they are not so incredibly tight!
