     Major John Vivien Bailey was born on 3 February 1909 at Farnham, Surrey, England.3 He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Vivien Telford Bailey and Mirabel Stuart Bailey.1,4 He married Evelyn Diana Noel, daughter of Lt.-Col. Francis Arthur Gerard Noel and Evelyn Bond-Cabbell, on 7 November 1936.1 He died on 12 July 1943 at age 34 at Syracuse, Sicily, Italy, killed in action.1,3
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Scots Fusiliers.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

Francis Arthur Gerard Noel, son of Admiral Sir Gerard Henry Uctred Noel and Charlotte Rachel Frederica Cresswell, on 24 July 1913.1 She died in 1988.1
