     Katharine Margaret Lees was born on 29 August 1918.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel Sir John Victor Elliott Lees, 3rd Bt. and Madeline Annie Pamela Pelly.² She married F/O Gerald Henry Rawlinson, son of Alfred Rawlinson, on 4 March 1944.¹ She died in 1994.¹

     He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹
