Sir Robert Hutchison, 1st Bt. was born on 28 October 1871.1 He was the son of Robert Hutchison and Mary Jemima Tait.1,2 He married Laetitia Nora Moore-Ede, daughter of Very Rev. William Moore-Ede, on 27 June 1905.1 He died on 12 February 1960 at age 88.1
