Sir Charles Abraham Elton, 6th Bt. was born on 31 October 1778.2 He was the son of Rev. Sir Abraham Elton, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Durbin.3 He married Sarah Smith, daughter of Joseph Smith, on 27 February 1804.2 He died on 1 June 1853 at age 74.2
He wrote the book Specimens of the Classic Poets (ASIN: 1248356950.)2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Somerset Militia.2 He gained the rank of Officer in the 48th Regiment.2 He wrote the book The Brothers, a Monody (ASIN: 1174879696.)2 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Elton, of Bristol [G.B., 1717] on 23 February 1842.2
