     He was the Rector at Loughton, Essex, England^G.¹ He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.² He graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1858 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)²

     Cicely Neave was the daughter of Sir Richard Digby Neave, 3rd Bt. and Hon. Mary Arundell.² She married Wyndham Slade, son of General Sir John Slade, 1st Bt. and Matilda Ellen Dawson, on 10 February 1863.² She died on 11 May 1920.¹
