     Gerald FitzGerald Blennerhassett was the son of Gerald Blennerhassett and Elizabeth Massy.¹ He married Geraldine Anne FitzGerald, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Fraunceis FitzGerald, 24th Knight of Glin and Bridgetta Eyre, on 15 June 1840.¹ He died on 15 August 1876.¹
     He was a leading figure in the Colleen Bawn tragedy as the man who arrested Lieutenant Scanlon.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Riddlestown Park, Doondonnell, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹

     Geraldine Anne FitzGerald was born on 27 October 1814.² She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Fraunceis FitzGerald, 24th Knight of Glin and Bridgetta Eyre.^1,2 She married Gerald FitzGerald Blennerhassett, son of Gerald Blennerhassett and Elizabeth Massy, on 15 June 1840.¹ She died on 12 October 1878 at age 63.¹
     From 15 June 1840, her married name became Blennerhassett.¹

     Lt.-Col. John Fraunceis FitzGerald, 24th Knight of Glin was born on 28 June 1791.² He was the son of Colonel John Bateman FitzGerald, 23rd Knight of Glin and Margaretta Maria Gwyn.² He married Bridgetta Eyre, daughter of Reverend Joseph Eyre, on 28 July 1812.² He died on 25 April 1854 at age 62, from cholera.²
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.² He succeeded as the 24th Knight of Glin in 1803.² He graduated from Christ's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1812 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He held the office of High Sheriff of County Limerick in 1830.² He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1832 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Limerick County Militia.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Limerick.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Limerick.¹ He lived at Glin Castle, County Limerick, Ireland^G.²

     Gerald Urmston Blennerhassett was born on 15 September 1845.¹ He was the son of Gerald FitzGerald Blennerhassett and Geraldine Anne FitzGerald.¹ He died unmarried.¹
     He lived at Riddlestown Park, Doondonnell, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹

     Clara Elizabeth Blennerhassett was the daughter of Gerald FitzGerald Blennerhassett and Geraldine Anne FitzGerald.¹ She married George Ralph Fosbery on 19 April 1888 in a childless marriage.¹ She died in 1904.¹
     She was the owner of 1,142 acres in 1878.¹ From 19 April 1888, her married name became Fosbery.¹ She lived at Riddlestown Park, Doondonnell, County Limerick, Ireland^G, which passed to the Knights of Glin after her death, and was later sold by them.¹

     George Ralph Fosbery married Clara Elizabeth Blennerhassett, daughter of Gerald FitzGerald Blennerhassett and Geraldine Anne FitzGerald, on 19 April 1888 in a childless marriage.¹
     He lived at Clorane, Croom, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at Kilgobbin, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹

     William Massy Blennerhassett was the son of Gerald Blennerhassett and Elizabeth Massy.¹ He married Margaretta Sophia FitzGerald, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Fraunceis FitzGerald, 24th Knight of Glin and Bridgetta Eyre, on 9 September 1847.¹
     He was County Inspector of Limerick.² He lived at Cloughnarald, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹ He held the office of High Constable of County Limerick.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Shannon Lawn, Glin, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹

     Margaretta Sophia FitzGerald was the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Fraunceis FitzGerald, 24th Knight of Glin and Bridgetta Eyre.^1,2 She married William Massy Blennerhassett, son of Gerald Blennerhassett and Elizabeth Massy, on 9 September 1847.¹ She died on 19 April 1872, without issue.²
     From 9 September 1847, her married name became Blennerhassett.¹

     Clara Anne Blennerhassett was born circa 1812.² She was the daughter of Gerald Blennerhassett and Elizabeth Massy.¹ She married John Fraunceis Eyre FitzGerald, 25th Knight of Glin, son of Lt.-Col. John Fraunceis FitzGerald, 24th Knight of Glin and Bridgetta Eyre, on 10 August 1835.¹ She died on 21 January 1878.¹
     From 10 August 1835, her married name became FitzGerald.¹
