Gerald FitzGerald Blennerhassett was the son of Gerald Blennerhassett and Elizabeth Massy.1 He married Geraldine Anne FitzGerald, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Fraunceis FitzGerald, 24th Knight of Glin and Bridgetta Eyre, on 15 June 1840.1 He died on 15 August 1876.1
He was a leading figure in the Colleen Bawn tragedy as the man who arrested Lieutenant Scanlon.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Riddlestown Park, Doondonnell, County Limerick, IrelandG.1

Geraldine Anne FitzGerald was born on 27 October 1814.2 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Fraunceis FitzGerald, 24th Knight of Glin and Bridgetta Eyre.1,2 She married Gerald FitzGerald Blennerhassett, son of Gerald Blennerhassett and Elizabeth Massy, on 15 June 1840.1 She died on 12 October 1878 at age 63.1

John Fraunceis FitzGerald, 24th Knight of Glin was born on 28 June 1791.2 He was the son of Colonel John Bateman FitzGerald, 23rd Knight of Glin and Margaretta Maria Gwyn.2 He married Bridgetta Eyre, daughter of Reverend Joseph Eyre, on 28 July 1812.2 He died on 25 April 1854 at age 62, from cholera.2
