Reverend Franck John de Vic Beamish was born in 1852.1 He was the son of John O'Meara Beamish and Anne Harris.1 He married Ann S. Greenfield, daughter of Reverend John Greenfield, in 1878.1 He died in 1907.1
He fought in the Franco-Prussian War, as a member of the 1st Zouaves. He was mentioned in despatches twice, and held prisioner twice1 for whcih Reverend Franck John de Vic Beamish was decorated with the Medaille Militaire.1 He gained the rank of Chaplain Forces in the Yorkshire Regiment.1 He fought in the Nile Expedition in 1885.1
