     Thomas Addis Emmet was born on 17 June 1900.¹ He was the son of Major Robert Emmet and Louise Garland.² He married Evelyn Violet Elizabeth Rodd, Baroness Emmet of Amberley, daughter of James Rennell Rodd, 1st Baron Rennell and Lilias Georgina Guthrie, on 9 June 1923.¹ He died on 3 June 1934 at age 33.¹
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Amberley Castle, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Evelyn Violet Elizabeth Rodd, Baroness Emmet of Amberley was born on 18 March 1899.³ She was the daughter of James Rennell Rodd, 1st Baron Rennell and Lilias Georgina Guthrie.³ She married Thomas Addis Emmet, son of Major Robert Emmet and Louise Garland, on 9 June 1923.⁴ She died on 10 October 1980 at age 81.¹
