     Adelaide Louisa Vandeleur was born on 22 May 1851 at Cragbeg, Killkeedy, County Limerick, Ireland.2 She was the daughter of Major Thomas Pakenham Vandeleur and Frances Lucy Maunsell.1,2 She married Christian Wilton Allhusen, son of Christian Augustus Henry Allhusen, on 7 January 1874.3,2 She died on 24 February 1936 at age 84 at Lyme Regis, Dorset, England.2
     From 7 January 1874, her married name became Allhusen.3
