Sir Thomas Swymmer Mostyn-Champneys, 2nd Bt. was born on 21 May 1769.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Champneys, 1st Bt. and Caroline Anne Cox.1 He married Charlotte Margaret Mostyn, daughter of Sir Roger Mostyn, 5th Bt. and Margaret Wynne, on 21 April 1792 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 21 November 1839 at age 70 at Orchardleigh, Somerset, EnglandG, without issue.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered in December 1840.1
He was given the name of Thomas Swymmer Champneys at birth.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Champneys, of Orchardleigh, co. Somerset [G.B., 1767] on 2 July 1821.1 In 1831 his name was legally changed to Thomas Swymmer Mostyn-Champneys.1
On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1
