Charles Henry Sloane Cadogan, 2nd Earl Cadogan was born on 29 November 1749.1 He was the son of Charles Sloane Cadogan, 1st Earl Cadogan and Hon. Frances Bromley.2 He was baptised on 13 December 1749 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.3 He died on 23 December 1832 at age 83 at Enfield, London, EnglandG, unmarried.3 He was buried on 3 January 1833 at Chelsea, London, EnglandG.3 His will was proven (by probate) in July 1833.3
He gained the rank of officer in the Army.3 Circa 1807 he was a lunatic.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Chelsea, co. Mary Churchill was born on 23 February 1758.2 She was the daughter of Colonel Charles Churchill and Lady Maria Walpole.3,4 She married Charles Sloane Cadogan, 1st Earl Cadogan, son of General Charles Cadogan, 2nd Baron Cadogan of Oakley and Elizabeth Sloane, on 10 May 1777.1 She and Charles Sloane Cadogan, 1st Earl Cadogan were divorced in 1796 on the grounds of criminal conversion with a Reverend Cooper.4
