     César de Bourbon, Duc de Vendôme was born illegitimately on 3 June 1594 at Château de Coucy, Picardie, FranceG.1 He was the son of Henri IV, Roi de France and Gabrielle d'Estrées, Duchesse de Beaufort.1 He married Françoise de Lorraine-Mercouer, daughter of Philip Emanuel de Lorraine, Duc de Lorraine-Mercouer and Marie de Luxembourg-Penthièvre, on 7 July 1609.1 He died on 22 October 1665 at age 71 at Paris, FranceG.1
     In January 1595 his birth was legitimised.1 He was created Duc de Vendôme in 1598.1

     Françoise de Lorraine-Mercouer was born in 1592.1 She was the daughter of Philip Emanuel de Lorraine, Duc de Lorraine-Mercouer and Marie de Luxembourg-Penthièvre.1,2 She married César de Bourbon, Duc de Vendôme, son of Henri IV, Roi de France and Gabrielle d'Estrées, Duchesse de Beaufort, on 7 July 1609.2 She died on 8 September 1669 at Paris, FranceG.2

     Louis III de Lorraine-Brionne, Duc de Lorraine-Brionne was born in 1725. He was the son of Louis II de Lorraine-Brionne, Prince de Lambesc and Jeanne Henriette de Durfort. He married, firstly, Louise de Gramont in 1740. He married, secondly, Auguste Mako de Coetquen in 1744. He married, thirdly, Louise de Rohan in 1748. He died in 1761.
     He gained the title of Duc de Lorraine-Harcourt-Armagnac.
