Background

Jacqueline Keisler has more than a decade of experience in the field of public relations. Prior to joining the university, she worked at a South Carolina government agency as the Public Information Director. Keisler has also consulted on various public relations projects for non-profits and provided communications counsel on local political campaigns.

Teaching

Keisler teaches Writing for Mass Communications and Public Relations Writing. Her teaching philosophy is to serve as a mentor and encourage learning and enthusiasm in the classroom. This is accomplished by using various teaching methods and integrating the use of technology to actively engage learners.

Service

Keisler is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, currently serving as the accreditation chair for the South Carolina Chapter.

Personal

Keisler is Accredited in Public Relations (APR) by the Universal Accreditation Board and is a South Carolina Certified Public Manager.
