Longclaw

- HBO
Longclaw is a Valyrian steel sword and has been a prized possession of House Mormont for 500 years. When Jeor Mormont joined the Night's Watch, he gave the sword to his son, Jorah. After going into exile for selling slaves, Jorah returned the sword to his father. As a thank you to Jon Snow for saving his life many years later, Jeor gave the blade to him. Jon still has the sword, which saved his life at the battle of Hardhome when he used it to kill a White Walker.Would you wield this? - Photo:

Dragons

- HBO
In Westeros and Essos, these bad boys are considered the ultimate weapons of mass destruction. Their fire breath can melt just about anything, a talent which allowed the dragon-riding Targaryens to conquer Westeros and rule it for three hundred years. Dragons may be powerful, but they're also very difficult to control. Currently, the only dragons in the world belong to Daenerys Targaryen.Would you wield this? - Photo:

Dragonglass
- Photo:
- HBO
Also referred to as obsidian. A form of volcanic rock, dragonglass is one of the most valuable substances in Westeros. It's tied to the White Walkers in two very important ways: it created them and is one of the only substances that can destroy them. It's typically found beyond the wall and in Dragonstone. It's been used by the Children of the Forest, and Samwell Tarly found a supply for the Night's Watch at Hardhome, before it was lost.Would you wield this? - Photo:

Ice
- Photo:
- HBO
A Valyrian steel greatsword and a prized possession of House Stark, Ice was handed down throughout the generations; its final keeper was Lord Eddard Stark. In its last days, it was used for executions... including Ned's. It was then melted down and reforged into two smaller swords: Oathkeeper and Widow's Wail.Would you wield this? - Photo:

Oathkeeper

- HBO
Oathkeeper is a Valyrian steel sword melted down from Ned Stark's greatsword, Ice. Originally a gift from Tywin Lannister to his son Jaime, he gave it to Brienne of Tarth to aid her in her search for Arya and Sansa Stark. It features a lion head grip, the sigil of House Lannister. Once in combat, it cut clean through an inferior sword.Would you wield this? - Photo:

Wildfire
- Photo:
- HBO
The Westerosi equivalent of napalm, wildfire is an incredibly volatile substance originally created by alchemists. When the Mad King lost his mind, he gleefully burned dozens of people alive with it. The Mad King made a massive stockpile of the stuff and was going to use it to burn all of King's Landing before Sir Jaime Lannister killed him. Later, Tyrion used it to repel an invasion of King's Landing by Stannis Baratheon. It is not known exactly how much wildfire is still stockpiled in King's Landing.Would you wield this? - Photo:

White Walker Ice Blade
- Photo:
- HBO
The White Walkers are scary enough without weapons, as only specialized weapons can hurt them and they pretty much kill anything instantly. So, the fact they have blades made of magic ice is no laughing matter. The ice blades can instantly shatter most weapons. They are used in both spears and swords.Would you wield this? - Photo:

Dawn
- Photo:
Bran saw the ancestral sword of House Dayne in a Season 6 vision. He witnessed Ser Athur Dayne wielding the "Sword of the Morning" as he battled Lord Eddard Stark. Ned Stark slays Dayne with the sword after Howland Reed stabs Dayne in the neck. He places the sword next to Lyanna Stark's bed in the Tower of Joy afterwards.
According to the books, Dawn was made from the metal of "a fallen star" and is allegedly just as sharp as Valyrian steel.

Tyrion's Dagger
- Photo:
- HBO
Tyrion's dagger is complete with a Valyrian steel blade and a dragonbone handle, which is about as well-crafted as you can get in Westeros. It was used by an assassin in an attempt to kill Bran Stark, though the dagger had been stolen from Tyrion. He gained possession of the dagger having won it from Petyr Baelish on a bet.

Warging

- HBO
While more of an ability than a weapon, the potential of warging is so powerful it deserves classification as a weapon. Most people use this ability to transplant their consciousness into animals, which means they can use anything from a hawk to a bear to attack people. Bran Stark, on the other hand, can takeover human beings. Lately, his power has grown to the point where he's able to transport his consciousness across space and time... a truly powerful weapon.Would you wield this? - Photo:

Lightbringer
- Photo:
- HBO
Lightbringer is the sword of Stannis Baratheon and prophesied to be wielded by the champion of the Lord of Light. The original sword with the name belonged to the previous chosen champion, Azor Ahai, and was said to glow and give off heat, burning whoever it torches. Stannis's sword was enchanted by Melisandre and could only glow without any heat. Its fate after Stannis's death is unknown.Would you wield this? - Photo:

Needle

Like its wielder Arya Stark, what this blade lacks in size it makes up for in ferocity. Given to Arya as a gift by Jon Snow, she has kept it close to her ever since. In the years after Ned Stark's death, Needle has become a fundamental part of Arya's character. In fact, it was the one possession she couldn't discard after the Faceless Men ordered her bury her identity.Would you wield this? - Photo:

Daario's Dagger
- Photo:
Lightweight and easy to throw, Daario Naharis's dagger has extreme sentimental value to its wielder. Daario is extremely adept at twirling it in his hands and has shown exceptional skill with throwing it in combat. It was last seen helping Jorah and Daario survive in Vaes Dothrak and it has a sculpture of a naked woman on the hilt.Would you wield this? - 15
Joffrey's Crossbow
- Photo:
- HBO
Crossbows are a big deal in medieval settings. Where it takes years for someone to master a bow and arrow, an effective crossbowman can be trained in a matter of weeks. King Joffrey loved his crossbow because of its power, ease of use, and range. After all, Joffrey loved violence as long as it was far away from him. Its last use was by Tyrion Lannister, to murder his father, Tywin.Would you wield this? - Photo:

Wolfsbane
- Photo:
Wolfsbane is a fast-acting and lethal poison distilled from the plant of the same name. Weapons such as darts can be dipped in it and shot into targets. It also has a distinctive smell, which makes it easy to identify. Jaqen H'ghar uses it to kill a Lannister Soldier at Arya Stark's request.Would you wield this? - 17
Widow's Wail
- Photo:
- HBO
The sister blade to Oathkeeper, Widow's Wail is the second Valyrian steel blade made from the late Ned Stark's Ice. Tywin Lannister gave it to Joffrey Baratheon as a wedding gift before the ceremony. On the show, Joffrey uses it to open the pigeon pie at his wedding feast. According to George R.R. Martin, the sword was passed down to Tommen Baratheon.Would you wield this? - Photo:

The Strangler
- Photo:
- HBO
A rare and potent poison, The Strangler kills its victims by choking them to death, swelling the victim's throat shut, to the point where they're unable to breathe (thus its appropriate name). It often comes in crystal form and dissolves into liquids. It was used by Petyr Baelish and Olenna Tyrell to assassinate King Joffrey Baratheon on his wedding day.Would you wield this? - Photo:

Arakhs
- Photo:
- HBO
A common Dothraki weapon, arakhs are a combination of a sword and a scythe. They boast fantastic maneuverability, but cannot pierce body armor. An arakh is best used on horseback, where its design allows for sweeping motions at lower targets. Jorah Mormont once fought a Dothraki using an arakh in single combat and won, thanks to his Westerosi armor.Would you wield this? - Photo:

The Long Farewell
- Photo:
- HBO
The Long Farewell is a poison favored by the Sand Snakes, especially Ellaria Sand. It takes time to kill its victims, but if even one drop hits the skin it is guaranteed to kill. An increased heart rate drastically speeds up the effects of the poison. Before death, victims experience nose bleeds and nausea. An antidote exists, but must be taken quickly after coming into contact with the poison. Ellaria used this poison to kill Myrcella, who then died on the boat back to King's Landing from Dorne, in Jaime's arms.Would you wield this? - Photo:

Scorpion
- Photo:
These long-range crossbows are strong enough to pierce the skull of a dragon. Cersei Lannister commissioned a scorpion for her encounter with Dany. Fortunately for Dany, Qyburn missed his target (the dragon's head) and barely scratched the surface of Drogo's scaled skin.

Tears of Lys
- Photo:
- HBO
Tears of Lys is an effective poison that is clear, tasteless, and kills in away that's easily mistaken for a fever. When Eddard Stark was Hand to Robert Baratheon, he learned that the previous Hand Jon Arryn was poisoned with the Tears. It was later revealed that Jon Arryn's wife Lysa was the one who poisoned him, for Petyr Balish. The poison is made in Essos's Free City of Lys.Would you wield this? - Photo:

Horn of Winter
- Photo:
Also known as the Horn of Joramun, the Horn of Winter is a large horn said to have the power to destroy the wall when blown. It was in the possession of Mance Rayder, who was going to use it to take down the wall if he wasn't able to successfully take Castle Black. Unfortunately for him, Stannis Baratheon showed up and broke his siege of Castle Black before he was able to implement the plan. It was later said by Tormund Giantsbane that Mance's horn wasn't the genuine article.Would you wield this? - 24
Wights
- Photo:
- HBO
The Westeros version of zombies, wights (and by extension the White Walkers) are the closest thing the land has to a biological weapon. Reanimated corpses with a singular function to kill, the White Walkers use them en masse. The most terrifying aspect is that anyone killed by them comes back as a wight, which means as their numbers grow as their enemies' numbers dwindle. They were last seen at the lair of the Three-Eyed Raven and are thought to be marching on the Wall.Would you wield this? - Photo:

The Shadow Demon
- Photo:
- HBO
Followers of the Lord of Light are capable of some very scary and powerful stuff. Melisandre in particular is capable of a lot with the right tools at hand. After having sex with Stannis Baratheon, she uses the power of his king's blood to create a shadow demon. After she gives birth to the creature, it assassinates Renly Baratheon.Would you wield this? - Photo:

Blood Magic
- Photo:
While it's hard to say one way or another if this stuff is completely reliable, there's no denying it gets results. Using the King's blood from Robert's bastard Gendry (Edric Storm, for book readers), Stannis Baratheon and Melisandre cursed Robb Stark, Joffrey Baratheon, and Balon Grejoy. It took a while, but all three died. It could be a coincidence, or it could be because of the curse. Either way, they're still dead.Would you wield this? - 27
Hearteater
- Photo:
One of Joffrey's many swords, Hearteater is made of Castle-forged steel. It is hard to gauge how well it does in battle, as Joffrey never technically used it during the Battle of the Blackwater. Still, if it is good enough for a soon-to-be king, chances are it packs a punch.
