Located right here in Denton, The Art Room is a six-year-old nonprofit that provides a safe, supportive art studio environment for adults and adolescents with mental health issues, where they can explore artistic expression and the development of artistic skills, at absolutely no charge to them. Our Members are supported in learning that the creative process has tremendous value in reducing stress and promoting self-discovery, and in providing a positive means for emotional expression. It’s a fact—engaging in art is therapeutic! Join us in this tee shirt fundraiser to support The Art Room and the mental health of our community!
