Hysterics Over Labradors' Reaction to Pool Time: 'Synchronized'

Two black Labradors have taken the art of relaxation to a whole new level, by drifting off whilst floating in the swimming pool.

In a heartwarming video shared by Jacelyn Savage (@jacsavagewellness), her pups, Henry and Louie, can be seen floating calmly on a pool float with their owner, resting their heads on top of him.

"I thought pool time with two Labradors would look a lot different, but I'm not complaining," Savage captioned the video, which has since gone viral with 4.1 million views and 741,500 likes.

As the video progresses, Savage zooms in on her dogs, who are now fast asleep. One of the pups even nestles his head on the other as they continue their blissful slumber, unaware of the viral sensation they've become.

Labradors are known for their love of water, a trait that dates back to their origins in Newfoundland, where they were bred as water dogs.

These dogs have a natural affinity for swimming, thanks to their webbed paws and water-resistant coats, according to Rocky River Retrievers.

However, Henry and Louie's tranquility is unexpected in comparison to the chaotic scene one might predict of two young Labradors in the water.

If you're considering taking your own dog for a dip, it's important to keep their safety in mind.

Petplan suggests introducing your dog to water gradually, always supervising them closely, and ensuring they have an easy way to exit the pool. Additionally, it's crucial to rinse them off afterward to remove chlorine or salt, which can irritate their skin.

The internet, unsurprisingly, has been captivated by the peaceful scene of these two Labradors.

"These are the most angelic pups I've ever seen in my entire life," one user, Lilly, commented.

Another viewer noted: "It's the synchronized 'sniff sniff' for me!"

"Synchronized swimmers," quipped another. "Those are really big river otters," said another.

One comment read: "Jack and Rose could have taken notes from these two," referencing the famous duo from Titanic.

Finally, a user humorously remarked: "Funny how my high school guidance counselor never mentioned 'floating in a pool with dogs' as a career choice—because sign me up!"
