Drink Mixer Recall as Safety Warning Issued

A drinks company has recalled several fruit-flavored mixes due to what it calls a "potential safety concern."

Urban River Spirits issued a voluntary recall on Tuesday, taking several of its products off shelves, including its blackberry and lime, raspberry lemon and pear-tini mixers, as well as its peach spritzer and spicy cool-aid, among others.

The company said it made the move due to a batch of the mixes having been produced at an "unlicensed and uninspected facility," stating that meant "product safety is undetermined due to potential under-processing."

This means that the products may not have gone through the full processes necessary to ensure they meet safety standards.

According to the announcement, if any of the items listed below were purchased on or before July 2, they should not be consumed. Instead, the item should be disposed of or returned to the company in Forest Grove, Oregon, for a full refund.
