Probable to play Sunday
McBride returned Friday from a five-game absence due to a strained left hamstring, and he finished with seven points, five rebounds and five assists over 20 minutes in a 126-101 loss to the Thunder. Unless he suffers a setback, the fourth-year guard out of West Virginia should be able to play in Sunday's afternoon matinee.

Records five assists in return
After missing the previous five games with a strained hamstring, McBride stepped back into his usual role as the Knicks' lead guard off the bench, outpacing both Landry Shamet (15 minutes) and Cameron Payne (15 minutes) in playing time. McBride will be the most likely candidate to move into the Knicks' starting five and take on a 30-plus-minute role if any of Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby or Josh Hart were to miss time with an injury, but in his current role, McBride's fantasy appeal is mostly limited to 14-team leagues or deeper.

Scores 27 points in loss
Brunson posted a solid scoring line, but he didn't contribute much in other categories as the Knicks suffered a heavy 25-point loss. The star floor general at least reached the 22-point mark for the fourth time over his last five outings, but his efficiency woes are beginning to look concerning. Over that five-game stretch, Brunson is shooting just 18.8 percent from three-point range while averaging 2.2 turnovers per game.
