Cleared for training camp

The Rockets were likely being cautious with VanVleet during that portion of their season, so the veteran's status wasn't in any real doubt heading into camp. For what it's worth, the entire Houston roster has been scrimmaging with contact since last week, so the Rockets should hit the ground running when camp begins.

Good to go for camp

Tate missed the final six games of the 2023-24 campaign with a right ankle sprain. He's been scrimmaging with contact since last week, so it's unlikely he will have limitations during camp. Tate finished the 2023-24 regular season with averages of 4.1 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 15.9 minutes across 65 appearances.

All set for camp

Sengun also battled a bone bruise in his right knee at the end of last season, but he will be 100 percent heading into training camp. Feigen reports that Houston's entire roster will be ready for camp after doing full-contact scrimmages last week. Sengun is primed for a massive 2024-25 season after posting averages of 21.1 points, 9.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.2 steals, 0.7 blocks and 0.5 three-pointers in 32.5 minutes per game over 63 regular-season appearances during last season's breakout campaign.
