The Phoenix Suns City Edition jersey is a tribute to “The Valley”, honoring some of the best seasons in franchise history and the anniversary of the 1995 NBA All-Star.
Drawing inspiration from the 1995 NBA All-Star uniforms, this year’s City Edition uniform pays homage to the 30th anniversary of the game held in Phoenix. Heralded as one of the best All-Star uniforms in league history, it marked the first time the league broke the mold of traditional red and blue uniforms to create something unique to the host city.
Modernized to feature a new “The Valley” wordmark that utilizes the Suns’ western font from the 70s and 80s, the elements pay tribute to some of the best basketball years in franchise history. This evolution of “The Valley” and “El Valle” uniforms is the next embodiment of the lifestyle branding associated with “The Valley.”
