Learn how to configure the new Moneris integration for Shopify.
Shopify is updating its payment processing functionality, and the old payment integration will be retired. To avoid service disruptions, you must activate the new payment integration as soon as possible and prior to July 30, 2024.
You will have access to a fully integrated solution with Shopify, as well as access to Shopify's most recent platform. If you don't update, your shoppers will not be able to purchase items online after July 30, 2024.
The Store owner who has access to Shopify Admin is the only person who can make changes to your Shopify account.
First make sure you have your Moneris API token and Store ID. Your Store ID was emailed to you when you were onboarded with Moneris, in your welcome email. If you cannot locate that email and did not receive it as part of the recent payment integration campaign, call us at 1-866-319-7450. You can find your case-sensitive API token by logging into the Merchant Resource Centre with your existing credentials, then follow these instructions.
When you’re ready, use the steps below to activate a new integration with Moneris to process payments.

Yes. Refunds and chargebacks will still be processed for another six months, for transactions made prior to deactivating the old integration.
