Dr. Parker’s experience spans both spine and cranial neurosurgery, including cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine pathology, peripheral nerve conditions, hydrocephalus, Chiari malformations and trauma. She treats patients ages 16 and older. She offers minimally invasive techniques and robotics in spine surgery to her Sugar Land area patients.
A native of New Orleans, Dr. Parker graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University with a degree in biomedical sciences and went on to earn her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She completed her neurosurgical residency at UTHealth Houston at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, where she was chief resident.
She is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Texas Association of Neurological Surgeons, and Council of State Neurosurgical Societies. She was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
